Custom Manufactured Components for the US Army Tobyhanna Depot

Tobyhanna Army Depot (TYAD) is a full-service electronics maintenance facility located near Tobyhanna, Pennsylvania. The depot was unable to find the supplier of a heatsink that was critical to the operation of one of the Army’s radar systems.

Carleton Controls tracked down the original manufacturer over the course of four weeks. The manufacturer had changed names and now only offered their products through distribution. Carleton Controls was able to qualify the distributor as a vendor and subsequently provide the Army base with the parts that they needed. Two additional follow-on orders over the next two years provided Tobyhanna Army Depot with the parts that they needed to perform their mission.
